I recently acquired a NOS C8CM (passenger side) and am looking for its sister (driver side). Not very rare I know, but I'm just starting a collection. Subscribed

Any change you can take pict of the underside of that one head or are they on the motor already.

I'm curious if he cast or machined any tricks into his heads.

I noticed the "HOTTON" on those. Andy Hotton owned Dearborn Steel Tubing and he was partners with Sullivan at that time.

I bid on a set of those hotton Sullivan heads years ago at an auction in Michigan. Should have went higher. Always regretted not stepping up on those.

  16. Awesome Thread. I wonder if anyone is reproducing stuff like Evans, Fenton and Edmunds heads.. those seemed rather popular back in the day...

Nothing rare, but may be interesting for the Edelbrock fans. Three heads, on the left is a new ‘Repop’ Head. It has fat fins and a machined flat script Edelbrock lettering. The center one is the 50’s ‘racing heads we all know of. It requires the longer studs also. The one on the right is interesting…it is the Edelbrock ‘Street’ head….tapered design and uses the original engine studs…..for the fast & easy swap. Since I am a ‘purist’ in Hot Rod restorations of my cars, the repop stuff does not do it for me. Real Ford parts, real ‘ole’ speed equipment….but, that’s me. Robert

Hmmm...sure would like more info on those....the close finned magnesium ones...never seen a photo of them before.
Looks like the Pratt & Whitney guys needed something to make after the war....

    They sold a flathead V8
industrial motor at a local auction that appeared to be a scaled up version & the most odd thing was it had a rear mount distributor

Nash/Rambler flathead Edmunds. Probably not super rare but since we're showing random flathead stuff... Where are all of the Mopar flathead guys??? There's a 53 Cranbrook ragtop rotting in a barn near me with Fenton headers, an Edmunds head, and a Tattersfield intake with a Ducoil dizzy.
