Hey everyone thought with some luck and the power of the H.A.M.B someone could maybe track down this car for me. The black/flamed 1956 Olds 2 door hardtop was built by a really good friend and fellow club member a while back in Rochester, New York. He was forced to sell due to certain circumstances to a gentleman in Gowanda, New York and he later sold it about 2 year ago which is where the story goes cold. Black, flames, red interior, pinstriped dash, bubble skirts possibly, lake pipes, flamethrowers, said "hellfire and brimstone" on right rear corner trunk lid. Looking to track down the current owner since I grew up admiring this car before I could drive and now that I'm old enough and have had a few old cars of my own I think it's time for me to track this car down and attempt to bring it home. If the owner is not interested in selling it right now thats perfectly fine, I would just like to know what happened to it. Any information or leads would be great. PM me if you have any information. I know its a long shot but I've learned that the car world tends to be a very small world at times. Thanks everyone, thanks for helping a young hotrodder out!

Nick, if I had know you wanted the car, i would never have sold it to the guy in Gowanda. I'd love to see you in the old girl!

Don't worry I saw that car for sale on here about a year ago, and again recently at first glance I thought it was the car too! Thanks for keeping your eyes out! I got a semi-lead on it, hopefully it pans out. In the meantime keep searching fellas! Thanks again!

Always liked Ron's car. Would be nice to see it around here again.
I found the owner of my old Chopped 37 Chevy in Connecticut by posting a picture of the car on the Craigslist wanted section in different Connecticut cities. It took a couple of years and some dead end leads but in 2011 after being gone for 11 years, the 37 is back home.
Good luck. I hope you find the car.

  25. I'll keep my eyes peeled on the web...
Great looking car, hope you get it back!
