My wife says she doesn't hate it, but I quite like the way it looks!

Sorry but those colors are more appropriate for the stock from the factory car. How about a hot rod color?

I get what your saying man, but I want my car to have a pre-war overall style. The typical "hot rod" colors (even though I like them) won't work for me. I want it to look like you took dads stock model A out of the garage in 1939 and stripped it down, then called it a hot rod. As traditional as it gets. No candies, metal flake, or bright colors for me on this one. I want the color to appear as if it could have been a stock choice in 1928.

  19. Looks great Rice- like the two tone idea too. Ford had a nice blue in that era also, maybe Washington Blue?

Not just a little bit impressive. Great job. Where/how did you mount the battery?.

I've always had the battery behind the front seat .on the floor. When I stop being cheap I'll buy a small optima and put it under the rear seat platform I made.

  23. Yeah, I suppose w/out knowing the word that statement could've gone either way huh. I looked it up now and didn't even realize it was a "local" word.

did you use a wood header when you moved the visor up, or did you make a metal piece? could you post more detailed pictures of how you supported the top and how you did the vinyl covering?

    thanks

Love this build. It honestly got me outside after a little dry spell and back on my car. Thanks!
