That says it all:D I love it.

Me too:cool: The work ethic in this thread is amazing. You can see what some of these guys have for resources in the background of their pics, and you know they ain't payin' someone else to get from the 'before' to the 'after.'

Crap, damn good, I agree!!! That's looking real nice!

May I ask what did you use for the ends of the dagmars? The points look to have indents or repeated splines(?).

I have a couple of before and afters here... the first is a 1959 Berkeley. This vehicle was slightly modified as part of my master's thesis and gets 72 miles per gallon on regular pump gas. (Yes it is possible. Just as Wade Caldwell and Trish Yunick Brown in Florida - Smokey Yunick's Daughter, but he did a LOT better than I did).

The second vehicle is a 1946 Triumph 1800 Saloon. The later models were known as the 2000 Renoun. This is thought to be the only known 1800 Saloon here in the states (with only a few on the other side of the pond), but it was too rough to restore to original and not quite the hot rod type, so it is now a tree house. Check out the other tree house stuff at www.TreeCreations.org

We shall see what other before and after pictures I can create in the future! :)

with a car THAT rare, I would DEFINATELY have put the time into it.

...and I've built several pretty nice rods from MUCH worse beginings.

it actually looks like you even did a deceint job cleaning it up as it was. I wouldda stuffed some running gear into her and called it good. (it doesn't hafta be a Concours d'Elegance quality job to be a cool car!)

I just hate seeing neat rare stuff not being saved. :(

I figured no one wanted this car to begin with, or there would have been more in the country when they were new. I saved this one from the scrap yard, and found that it is getting a lot more attention now as a tree house then it has as a car.

The producers from "Tree House Master" on Animal Planet has contacted me and there is a possibility that they may stop by to check out the tree houses this summer, and I believe the car (as the flagship of my Tree Creations) is the reason for it. If you are ever in Western NY, stop by and play! My contact info is on the website mentioned earlier!

    Best, ~Joe

This is the four iterations of my car from the day I got it in the top left to how it sits after the club chopped it in the bottom right - still a few things to do!

Cool, glad you kept the fenders!

With those full covers on the wheels-it looks as tho the car shrunk alittle! Looks a tad larger with the other sets or am I just too tired this morn?!

340 and Patrick, thanks for the compliment!

I am thinking about clearing it and sometimes even think maybe paint it a midnight blue color. I change my mind about this every week.
