Hey Merc Club, does anyone have a picture of the light that goes on the rear window garnish molding for a 53 2 door sedan.

Also on the dash what goes on the left side beside the starter button and head light switch?

Tim,
I have a hardtop Monterey, so can't be of any help with the light.

The dash switches are:

Left of steering column (3 from L to R) starter button,headlights,wipers
Right of steering column(3 from L to R) map light,cig lighter,ignition key

There's a rumor on the web that Bob took his Dorito's commercial money and fled the states to avoid capital gains...

wiper is what I need. I am trying to put my dash back stock. It all started when I got the map light switch and knob. I like the look of the original knobs.

I'm in....looks like a good group. In high school (some 50+ years ago) I really wanted a custom. My first car was a 50 Ford. All I managed to do to it was change the hood and top of the grill to a 51 and add skirts. I really wanted to shave doors, hood and deck and French the lights.....never did.

Now I am reliving those days with the acquisition of a beautiful 50 Merc that has been restored AND customized to my liking. It also has a 350HP 454 and a 700R4 transmission.
