I like the part about getting rid of the clunky looking visor. Nice job.

 

Any chance of a pic of the underside of the roof front and visor, please? Is the visor stamped as part of the roof panel, and the panel above the screen just a bulkhead spot-welded to that?

 

I gotta say--I'm not a fan of the visorless look. but that's one man's opinion. outstanding metal work though.

i will get one for ya REM . its one piece with the roof wth a piece spotwelded to it then it bolts to the header above the windshield.

Pillars . alot of work to make them look 100 percent back to looking FORD . just 3 and a half inches lower

how i started to skin them . the bottom welded on in 2 pieces



and the top pieced back together and welded up to go with the chop and making the windshield fit








same with the passenger side



that would be orig 1932 ford black paint rubbed out on the back side of the garnish moulding



this is after it was chopped

Very nice metal work. Since you have got it all cut up in the roof why not stretch the cab and flush fit the doors for a little bit more room. That is what we are going to do to my coworkers 32 pickup. Jim (55willys)

Flop, I have chopped a couple of these cabs also. When I did the window frame, instead of cutting it and welding it up, I just removed what I needed from the top. All I had to do then was redrill the holes. Lazy mans way Nice job you are doing!

 

Flop! Has the customer decided if the visor is going back on it or not?

Man! I love me a full hood hotrod pickup. Wish my bed was stock length too.

Thanks man! It actually has nearly 5 inches cut out of the bed! Crazy to think it still looks long....

 

Ah, stupid me. I always forget that the 33/34 has a longer wheelbase than the 32. Here's my bed, with roughly 5 inches cut out of it as well.

Still looks great! I like the overhang out the rear on yours.

Very impressive work.

I had a friend that removed the visor on his Model A pickup back in the 80's using windshield header parts from a discarded Victoria and it looked pretty good...but without a visor the sun was a bitch,,you sure can't move the seat back..

If the truck remains visor-less I would suggest to fabricate some type of interior fold down sun visors for the driver & passenger. HRP

You work is so damn good!!! I noticed on your truck the top bead that goes across the cab is flattened out. I have a truck also that has that problem also. Any ideas how your going to work that area. I got mine somewhat worked out it but it still ain't right. Like to see some pictures if and when you work on that area of your cab.
