I like a rod when ya can't see the pipes hangin down like an after thought...Ya know the kind...Killer car,much thoughtout build...then the exhaust system hangs down lookin ugly.....Lets see'em guys...plumbing...

tail pipes together is like putting your stereo speakers together......MONO you could of had stereo!!!!!
I didn't want the "off the shelf" header that I have on my car. I like the lakes look but don't like exhaust outside the frame rail. So here is what I came up with Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

I like to see pipes, as long as they're header pipes or chrome tips. It's all the stuff between headers and tips that I want hidden. But I also want the stuff between to be nicely routed if someone looks underneath the car! I used a holesaw to put a hole on the inside of my collector on the headers so I could weld in a 2nd collector off the inside. It allowed me to route the exhaust inside the frame rails, and also open the collectors without dropping the exhaust system. I ran my mufflers vertically inside my ladder bars, and painted the exhaust flat black with VHT high temp paint to help hide it. Over the axle and out the back, with 3" chrome tips angle cut to finish it off. Just an old hotrod, but wanted it to look clean.
Well, except the Mean Effective length is Not the same. Every curve changes the length of the pipe as the flow sees it. Airflow through a tube is essentially laminar - it wants to go straight, every curve slows down the flow as it upsets the laminar property. So it you look at 1 versus 4, while they MAY measure the same length, #4 is longer as the exhaust flow sees it, and #2 & 3 are longer than 1 & 2. This is easily measured on a Flow bench. They do look pretty cool though, and probably work just fine, but they are not "True" equal length
No stinkin pipes needed. A lot quieter than I thought they would be. Which is good. 16 inch glass pack with the end cut off to match the inside diameter of the cone. The end cap has a 2 inch hole in it slides over the other end of the glass pack. I think I am going to make turn downs on the end caps.
I stand corrected!.......but not concerned. For an engine that produces about 100 HP, and turns about 4,000 RPM, they work and sound just fine to me.
