foxnews had a link to an article that posed the question "what were the coolest four doors? They suggested the following models _three which I posted that I think are "hamb freindly"):
    1962 Lincoln Continental
    1948 Tucker
    1951-54 Hudson Hornet
    Aston Martin Lagonda
    1994-96 Checrolet Impala SS

What would be your choices for the coolest 4-doors?

Interesting topic. Yes to the Tucker and the Lincoln. 48-50 Hudson I think is much better looking than the 51-54, surprised they picked that one. 59-60 GM flat-tops and the '56 Ford 4dht would round out my 5.

The best ones are always the designs that were intended to have 4 doors from the beginning. When the designer has a 2 door sedan and is forced to shorten the front doors and jam another pair of doors on the back, they just aren't as pretty.

74 Dodge Monaco Sedan more popular than two doors because of the Blues Brothers Movie.
    55-57 GM Hardtops.
Graham / Cord / Hupmobile sedans.
I actually prefer most full size luxury cars to be four doors. Two doors are sporty, and full size luxury boats aren't sporty. The step down Hudson is the clear four door winner though. The coupes are not as beautiful.

I almost forgot, Amos Northrup's cool-ass Hupmobile, one of the best, imo.

  23. That Sir, is one absolutely gorgeous looking 4 door Sedan, the side profile and the way the rear wheel tyre fits into the body line is perfect. I have a soft spot for the '57 Chevy sport sedan.

    FAUX NEWS is bullshit!
but the '61 on Continetals are ok as are the
    '57 on Cadillac Broughhams.
If the politics hadnt killed the Tucker I think a two door would have sold more of them even if more four doors were available. funny how that used to work..

    "COOL RULES"
If a two door was made it's the only "cool car."

If a hardtop (pillarless) two door was made it is the "cool car."

Some cool cars were built only as four door cars, but if they were also built in two doors then the two door cars were the only cool cars.
