How many shots do you typically take?
Sorry I missed you, see you next year, for sure.

 

It varies a lot. For RJR I took somewhere around 2,400. That does not mean I have anywhere near that many good ones. A lot of them are three shot sequences in case I want to combine them later. There are a lot of them that are repetitious too - same car shot multiple angles, etc. Often, once I get home, I see a lot of them and wonder what the hell was I thinking when I shot it since the shot is really unusable except as a snap shot. I also did quite a few posed sessions and those tend to eat up a bunch of shots on the same car although I will end up using only one or two. My next big outing, which will be for the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, CA will probably be slightly less, but not by much.
