Yesterday I received my advance copy of the Rodder's Journal issue 59. And what a
pleasure it was to open it up and get to the pages were Pat Ganahl and Geoff Miles have
created an outstanding article on the Jack Stewart 1941 Ford. 16 pages (8 spreads) are
devoted to the Jack Stewart Ford with some really fantastic studio photos of the car in bare
metal by Geoff Miles. Also included are some great old photos of the car of which one is a
really nice color photo from 1951 or early 1952 from the Jim Skonzakes collection that was
dropped from the Jack Stewart Ford book at the last moment.

The article that Pat Ganahl wrote about the car could not have been done better and it puts
a huge smile on the faces of everybody involved in the project from 1947 till now. And for
sure will it put a smile on your face once you get to read and see it yourselves. I think the
new issue will be available in a month or so.

This article is another milestone for car owner Palle Johansen and the Jack Stewart Ford
Project and its team. And also for KUSTOM KAR BOOKS publishers and the Jack Stewart
Ford book, which gets some really great words on the best Hot Rod and Custom Car related
    magazine on the planet.

Thank you TRJ... and the rest of the magazine is really nice for us Custom Car enthusiast as well.

I agree Keith, if I had known I'm sure I would now own at least one of the two.

Well I have always loved this car, but this thread has just killed/excited me to a point that I could no longer stand it, I am not planning a "clone" however, I am going to try and build a Sam Barris style 40's style custom 41 ford, so I went and bought one that I knew of this weekend, I am picking it up monday, if you are keeping up with the weather in our area I am sure you understand why I did not pick it up today. I am planning a 4" in the front, 6" in the rear chop, tail dragger stance, spots, skirts, black, or a dark green, white interior, with trim to match the outside, cad grill, sumbrarro caps, bias WWW's and pretty much everything just as close to a period correct build as possible with the only real varriation being the wiring harness, and a hidden stereo. Here are some pics of the car from today, not great but gives you an idea. Its an old 60's gasser, so I have some work ahead of me but I got the car for a grand so I couldnt go wrong, no way! Jim.
