Here's a before, a rough fab, and a current pic.

I've been down for the count on this build for 3 months now healing a bad broken arm...but I'm finally coming back.

I'll fast forward this project with a bunch of the fab pics up until 3 months ago. If you want words on any of the details, ask away...but it's just another build!:D

Assguy came with me to steal a load of stuff from Honky's place. Good doors, roof, firewall...wish he'd get that shoebox done, it's nice!

Next picked up a pretty complete minus engine project from out Assguy's way again.
I was thinking on going full fendered street/strip at this point.

mock up after unloading for some serious eyeballin...God those '37 front ends are f'in ugly!

I'm just not seeing a full fendered street/strip. Looked at it from every angle for a couple more weeks and still couldn't make it work in my feeble mind!

...frame is coming together. '32 front cross member, '37 rails back to the firewall and boxed, 2x3 tubing from there I picked up that rear clip complete built to my specs cheaper than I could build it myself.

Chop time. The roof had been crushed and stretched pretty bad, but the top panel of the spare body was good...

Keith, Another idea. I was thinking about the fake roof vent on the rear of the 1958 Chevy Impala cars. It would be so cool if you install one of the WW II low profile periscopes that were on US armored tanks so the driver could see forward without getting shot.
But, you install yours facing rearward as a mirror to see what's behind you to eliminate the blind spots.

Of course you would do this in such a way that it doesn't make it look like a rat rod junky add on.
