I was watching the movie HOT ROD , today , and at 20:35 , you'll hear a horn on this car , it sounds like a high pitched and a low pitched horn alternating back and forth , I would like to have a horn like this , is there anyone here that can tell me what kind of horns these are? , here's the link to the movie....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7M1RtnXzHw

take a high and low pitch horn, wire them on opposite sides of a relay, and put a flasher in. it might give you the sound you are after

Should work in theory , seems like a flasher would be kinda slow , but , maybe.

I have never heard one switch back and forth , high and low like that on any factory application for a GM car...

Some air horns have cycling like that. That's how they create musical air horns like on the General Lee.

Sounds a lot like the horns that were in my old '39 Standard............they came from a '50's Thunderbird.

German and various other European police horns are like that. And...I believe JC Whirney had a horn modeled on that...they had a LOT of novelty horns.

I wonder of that relay could be made into a flame thrower. I have had bad luck with the quality if those.

Did anyone ever figure out how to make a set of horns like the ones I was asking about?
