I read that it was a two speed gear box, can't remember the name now.

Jan was way ahead of his time. Always fast wherever he raced.

    An oddball question:
Way back in possibly 69?, i was at Indy at the nationals, and got to meet Kay Sissel.
He asked me to come with him as he had to go check on a few of his buddys cars and say hello.
He stopped at a black 62?, Chevy 2, and had a quick chat with the owner/driver, i think it was an H/GAS car back then. (Long time ago.)
Anyway, after he told me that Chevy2 guy ran a Ford 300 inline, PLUS a 292 chev engine in that same car, (mounts were set up to switch it quickly).
I may be wrong, but i'm sure he told me one engine was to qualify for ET, the other for MPH.
Is anyone knowlegable about this car???????? Thanks much.

Here's the third (and final) form the Flyin' Brick's taken, a side engine layout ala "Midnite Oil Special".
(see the signature link for build/mod pics)

And here're a bunch of us left coast HAMBster herders at Eagle Field, all sixes (except for the Poncho flat eight ;)) so far.
