Just cusrious to see if anyone is going to the Albany, OR swap meet Nov 16th? I went for the first time last year, a great meet and I bought quite a few things I was looking for! I'll be heading down again this year
Never miss it! I always find great stuff, even when I wasn't really looking for anything! Best part is it's almost all indoors, and this time of year that's a huge bonus!
I will be there too! Albany and Corvallis are both Great! Still people out there who have a realistic opinion on Value!! Not the over inflated crazy prices!!!
Corvallis was back in the spring. Wont be another until April 27th of next year. I'm usually broke after the April swap meet in Portland, so don't make Corvallis often.
A few of us will be there from the Willamette valley. Building 2, the one that's unheated with mostly concrete floor. Spaces 219-222. Stop and say hi, Joe
I was going to drive down and check it out. Decided to work Saturday, and Sunday I'm buying a 29 Model A!
They'll probably all be covering southbound from Portland to Eugene, and later than the 6:00am we'll be departing!
Best swap meet I've had for selling, period. I couldn't leave my spot at all but I did score a really nice restored 1946-1948 complete steering wheel from the guy across from me. That's the only purchase I made. Whoever bought the yellow 30 roadster in the arena for10k got the deal of the day.
Or the black '56 Chevy 210 sedan for under $10k! That was a pretty nice car for the money! I got some good buys, but nothing on my shopping list! Picked up a nice 14" 2 1/2 hp metal chop saw with 4 extra blades for $25. Runs and looks like new! Picked up a nice '58 Ford grille for a project car too. Plus a bunch of other little items and pieces for various projects. A whole bin full of brackets, gussets, metal plate, nuts and bolts, etc for $10 bucks!
I just got home, had a great time and got some stuff I needed. Saw some friends and met some new ones. It's a long drive for a little meet, but I always have a great time
Had a brand new engine in it, and looked like all the wiring was hooked up, but I never heard it run. Sure had a crowd of interested people around it all morning!
