Judging by what I can see of the one behind the c-124, it sure looks like F-84s to me.

 

The planes overhead look to be what we called T 33, I think they were called something else before that.

 

Yep. F-84 Thunderjets. These are early ones, P-84Bs (later called F[ighter]-84B, as opposed to P[ursuit])

They COULD be F-80's but look more like F-84 Thunferjets to me.

F-80 shooting star.
