    WOW, gotta love the grounding straps hanging from the front. Haven't seen those since the early 70's.

    LOL, I came across my first HAMB advertisement prior to logging in, "Boat Lift Distributor Since 1974". Not only is this ad off topic, it doesn't meet the HAMB's 1965 cut off. Just sayin.

    Somehow, the theme song to the Sound of Music sequel just didn't work well. "The desert's alive, with the sound of music..." didn't cut it.

    Judging by what I can see of the one behind the c-124, it sure looks like F-84s to me. :cool:

    The planes overhead look to be what we called T 33, I think they were called something else before that.

    Yep. F-84 Thunderjets. These are early ones, P-84Bs (later called F[ighter]-84B, as opposed to P[ursuit])

    Negatory on the starfighter, The T-33 was a two place (tandem)
