It will probably be that way in the future but it's NOT traditional. When folks use to come here (to the good old US of A) you learned the local language - ENGLISH.

Theres no logic to posts deleted. They deleted one of my posts but it was quoted elsewhere in the thread, so what was accomplished by deleting mine? Even worse,it was a serious question with no 'bad' or hidden meaning

Here's mine I had done this summer. I recently sanded it down some more so it looks more aged, but don't have a good picture. The shop logo is my dad's old shop logo, and he was a Gulf distributor for a while so that's why I got the little Gulf sign on the tailgate.

YA that lettering looks to new compared to the nice rusty patina on the truck. Post your new pics when you have'em.

Would anyone care to disclose their "distressing" technique after lettering up a door to make it look "old and worn out"?

I appologize if this has been posted/asked already. I tried a search and couln't find anything.

HAMB member "crook" did this to my fairlane ...

Did an outstanding job. lettering mirrors the patina paint to a "T". My design ... his followthrough - perfect. Fooled the Fairlane site. They wanted to do a story on the barn find superstock survivor. I fessed up.
