Thanks Jim and yes I have painted I believe 75 of those 4x8 OSB boards! And yeah the wagon aint "traditional" I don't suppose but I love it!

Hell, if I had a shop like that, in six weeks I'd have it so full of junk I couldn't work in it...

 

I Actually design trusses for a living I can also comment on this build as well! Looking good! Scissors trusses give a whole lot of extra room for lifts etc., I presume.

Ben got banned? lame. Another thread that wont see the end. This car kicked ass.

 

If I had to guess, I'd say it may have been about too many shots of those silly oversize "dubs" on that wagon. Not a very trad look.

I was also interested in where he'd end up w/ that coupe build.

That can't be right, I didn't really think the wagon was the focus, just happened to be in front of his shop. Too bad I guess....was one if my favorite subscribed threads.

Damn, there aren't many Chevrolet projects on here as it is, hate to lose one. Fitting since I sold my project today as well.

 

I don't know Ben or why he got banned, but this was one of my favorite threads and I hate to see it go. I vote to bring Ben back and let this thread live on to inspire others like it has me.

If you are reading this Ben, keep on keeping on. I hope to see your car in person someday. Thanks for the inspiration.

I liked to see a youngster building a car it is how the future of hot rods are carried on. I like Ben too he had the drive it takes. We need guys like him to carry it on ! dubs have their place and they looked good on the wagon .My new truck has 22's it would look funny on 16's no pics lol!

I am proud to call Ben my friend, he did get banned for his comments. He is carrying on with the build of the Chevy and its gonna be killer !!! To bad that things escalated the way they did and he got banned. He is a really good guy !!
Oh well so goes life. He is watching !! LOL !!!

 

Hate to see this happen to Ben, I've been following his build since I joined. I owed a 32 Chevy Sedan for 20 yrs, and like many others on here, you don't see to many old chevy builds...Jim

I also really enjoyed Ben's updates. I can't believe he has been banned. He always was very polite and answered everyones comments with detail. I hope he can/ will come back.

Awesome there's just not enough chevy guys they like our motors but how else can you get a ford to move lol !!Keep posting I like your new shop I just built a loft in mine more chevy parts !!

 

Damn....that thing is killer! Never been a huge fan of white on a frame but that looks awesome!!! Love it!
