    Next I re-contoured the C pillars

after getting the right shape I reweld the C pillars and add some reinforcement

Then I lay the back window down to check the shape

Glad to hear there's some progress brotha! Don't get overwhelmed, just brace it up and start chopping when you get it back form the blaster! Give me a call if you have any questions!

Nathan Jaggard came over on holiday for the California Hot Rod Reunion and to check the progress on his merc. He's a great guy and was very pleased with the results so far! This was the first time he's ever seen his merc or any 40 merc in person! He bought the car sight unseen almost a year ago from a guy in Michigan and I've been storing it for him until I could work on it. Nathan has a killer 40's style model A coupe and really "gets it" when it comes to the early style cars! Im blessed to able to build cars for such cool cats!

    hahaha don't I look a plonker!
Great to meet up with you finally Kevan, it was a real pleasure. I was totally blown away with your shop and the cars that you have.
To say I'm pleased with the way the car is progressing is a complete understatement, it really is a dream come true. I think this will be a real gem when you've worked your magic on it, especially with some of the ideas we were talking about.

keep up the good work Kev
