Projects Just bought 1953 cadillac convertible need help

Its a full size car. Window regulators are missing but it looks to be manual windows which would make it a series 62 and its for sure a 53. I have all the 53 chrome/stainless, some of which has been re plated.

The February 1993 No.45 of American Rodder magazine had a article on how to turn a 1952 Buick into a folding top convertible and it looked pretty simple. It said that the body from the beltline down was the same. They used a 1970 Cadillac as a donor for the top and parts. I would guess that the Cadillac and Buick were similar in using convertible and hardtop from Beltline down.

I have a late model production 1952 which is actually a1953 75 series 12v parts car thatis available You can have the roof cheap!

 

Just for reference here is a 1953 my buddy restored completely.

 

this is my 53 Coupe Deville...... that convertible posted above is an Eldorado which has completely different wrap around windshield plus different body lines @ Door and Quarter
