  3. So Good to go though this thread again! What an epic adventure.

I'm picking out photos for the Calendar, I hope to have it done by Thanksgiving.

I am also working on a Hot Rod Hill Climb Feature for the Rocky Mountain Auto Show Nov 29-Dec 1 at the downtown Denver Convention Center. I'm working with Scott McCann to get 50 cars, all 1954 or earlier, early 50's hot rods. The Participants of the Hot Rod Hill Climb are encouraged to attend! Entry is $25 and list Hot Rod Hill Climb as your club display. I need to know you are coming, so let me know please.

You all are so awesome to support this!
    Thanks-

    Mike
I'm sending my entry fee in today for the Rocky Mountain Auto Show.
I've put together a small picture collage of the 32 CRAGAR to show also.

    Quote in 1/14 HRM:
There's a great quote by Thom-Taylor in the 1/14 issue of HOT ROD: "Events like the Hot Rod Hill Climb in Georgetown, Colorado, give me hope that the days of people parking vintage hot rods in treeless parking lots and sitting next to them with a beer are coming to an end. We can start doing things with them".

  10. That is awesome, I missed that on my first run through the magazine!

Any chance you can show the cars featured on the calendar? There are trophy whores then there are calendar whores!

A friend sent me this link. Cattches the vibe pretty well. I've done that road on an old motorcycle. Lotsa fun.

Used my wife's PayPal account this morning to order one of my Christmas gifts from her. :D Looking forward to seeing the great rod photos set in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. Thanks for putting this together.

  25. Does it have the date for the 2014 event????

  26. Awesome! Way to help her out!

I'm still working on the dates for next year with Georgetown.

We have some other very exciting things happening too... more to come!

^^^^^Hot damn, I'm still pissed I couldn't make the 60th anniv, and have been hoping for the 61st. My T roadster or 32 5w will be ready to make the climb. Awesome.

    Hi Mike,
Met you at Nicks' Garage last weekend! We were in Denver for Family Tday and just happened on the show. I'll still buy that 32 Co plate anytime -Ha!- but will settle for owning the last HRHC Beanie! Can't believe I did not know about this event since my cousins are friends of Tom at the RR...I didn't happen on your booth at LSR either...Oh well, I know now, and my wife bought enuff Swag where I won't forget!
I am weathering the current ice storm here in Dallas by catching up with your threads on the event. I will be there 2014 and if I can get Jill to come, she hawks T-shirts like a 50s Carnival Barker...be glad to help out if you need us to Volunteer. Keep in Touch...

I got my calendar in the mail 2 days ago. It looks great. I have it hanging up at work already. If you didn't buy one, you should.
