These shots are from the Tidewater Automotive Modelers show in Norfolk Virginia yesterday , 10/26/ 2013 . Peoples Choice ballot went to a 1937 Cord Winchester sedan . It's a resin body that was cast by Art Anderson . Our own "Joker " was there too, complete with his H A M B alliance plaque Considering that weather was great , attendance was way down . Thanks to the vendors and all the participants . Hopefully, some of these models will appear in the magazines as well ................ scrubba
Thanks for the pics, Scrubba. That collection of Jenkins cars is nuts! (I got nothing new this week, been working on a '72 442 for my brother).
Yep, that is a group of models I would have certainly circled back to a few times before I left. Love early 60s Chevy muscle.
AMT 1936 Ford Roadster (1/25 scale) I am working on. I bought this kit about 25 years ago. I have tons unbuilt kits. No one starts out to collect--it just sort of starts happening.
I just assembled this 1/8th Scale Monogram 1932 Ford frame the other day. Have filed/sanded down all the bad edges and form lines. Will give a coat of flat black primer and finish it off before I paint it gloss black. Hear is a new 1932 Ford Roadster body 1/8th Scale. This car will be a High Boy. I will prime this body and then fill in the cowl lamp indents and then finish in preparation for gloss black too. That is a 1977 Monogram instruction booklet. One frame is brand new; the other is over 35 years old. During the winter I will try and restore and reconstruct a full fendered 1932 Ford Roadster that I built in 1983. It was an attic find. I posted about it in last weeks Sunday Model thread.
Fordor… This will be fun to follow. Post plenty of pics! Great stuff from the model show scrubba, thanks for posting them.
