Per Curt Iseli of Rodder's Journal, there were over 800 cars.

Thanks a lot Graystoke, dinokruzordinance, 327-365hp and Rok55

How about a little bit of engine art.

Dan - it's a 2.3L Ford block (of Mustang SVO vintage), fitted with a 16v Zakspeed cylinder head. On top of that, they rotated the head 180 degrees so that the intake ports faced the driver's side of the car.

Dan, I had the old all steel 32 3w gasser pulled by my 40 pickup that was last painted and pinstriped in 1957. The gasser spent 43 years in a chicken coop before it was brought back to life with a nailhead Buick and 4 spd. It's a ball to drive!

Oh you are that Al. Sorry for the confusion - I remember you well and your two automotive gems. I didn't know your HAMB handle.

Here is the same picture in color. I did quite a few different versions before I did one I liked.

Thank you very much, Don. I loved it too. I kept coming back and trying different times to get a decent picture of it. It always seemed to be in a crowd. I was happy to get this one.

Dan, THANKS for fishing up the color pic of the gasser and tow vehicle.
I don't know how you decide on ONE version of a picture you like when I, and most everybody else!, like EVERY version of any picture.
    Great stuff.
Thanks again for another version of my old treasures.
PS I get lost in a sea of "Al"s all the time. Just another guy having fun with our old cars and trucks and all the great people we meet.

Thanks Al. I now have you cross referenced in my HAMB name to real name index. I do go crazy sometimes deciding what to post. I have yet another cool retro version of your cars that I like as well. I will post it in a bit.

If anyone knows what this car is, I would like to know. Thanks in advance.

Dan, awesome photos! The colors are so crisp!
Question, do you photo edit the people out of the pics? Very few "walkers" in the background.

Thanks very much, Jon. I do edit them out sometimes, but most of the time I either wait or watch for areas where there seem to be fewer people.

I am glad you like it, Bruce. I took quite a few of it, but they were all in tricky places, so it took me a while to decide which one had the most possibilities.

  30. Well after admiring your fantastic photography and post-processing it was a great pleasure to finally meet you Dan. Hope you had a great visit with your daughter and good time here in Mass. after you left Baltimore.

Hope you enjoyed my story of bumping into your "other unknown brother Paul" at the Revival when I was trying to find you:)

See you down the road now that I've broken through your hidden identity :)
