It's only primer but I'm starting to like it like this, still on track to paint it gloss black one day!

Got most of the front clip all bolted up, (bumper has no bolts in it yet) having problems trying to get the timing right. Hopefully will sort it out tommorow night. Took it for a bit of a drive up the road, speedo seems to be pretty much dead on with the speed on the GPS so pretty happy with that.

Ok so I have hit a little bumpnin the road on the way to chopped. Motor wasnt running right so I went to adjust rockers and noticed one wouldnt come up, pulled the valley cover off to find three lifters dished in more then an 1/8th". And the three cam lobes rounded off. Due to the shrapnal from the cam and lifters floating around the motor I wasnt keen on just putting in a new cam and lifters so im going to rebuild the whole motor.....after chopped. So for the time being I am borrowing a 283 out of a friends 64 untill I get my motor rebuilt.

So far last night I got my motor pulled out and the motor pulled from the 64 and cleaned up. Just have to swap all the accerorys and sump over then I can bolt it into my car

So I made it to chopped and back and decided to enjoy the chev a for a few months over summer before I cut it back up again, well that lasted about a week. Practiced cutting my own curved glass and was successfull so this lead me to pulling out alk the glass from the chev, after a phone call to my buddy ahron we had a game plan, ahron is coming up this weekend to help with the chop so iv been busy trying to get it all ready to go, stripped the paint in places and started cutting small pieces out and marking everything out, im pretty exited for the weekend! 1382354204219.jpg 1382354235220.jpg 1382354259573.jpg 1382354291424.jpg

Ok so its been a while since iv updated you guys on whats going on. Im about half way through the chop at the moment, a pillars are welded up but still working on the b and c pillars one side c piller is all tacked up. Bassically it came down 2 1/2" vertically in the front so a little more then 3 1/2" out of the pillers. And was down 90mm at the b pillers (just shy of 4") moved the back window forward at the bottom 4 1/2" and lent it to match the roof. Im really happy with how its turned out big thanks to Ahron from rolling art coach works for making the 8 hour round trip up to help out with the initial cuttin and tacking up! Wouldnt look this good if I attacked it solo...... pics....
