Please add 39-2dr from Belton MO to the list. Breeder, it seems like yesterday going to your first show - now that I'm retired, time to come visit Wayland again. I found a small piece of tire tread under my front seat and it brought back memories.

 

all up-2-date now.

dueced - i went to the 1st & 2nd grades in republic; 1957 - 1959. lived on a farm right off of 60 between republic and springtown. i vaguely remember "Pop" Furr (sp?). he was a blacksmith and had a hand pump gas pump with the glass globe at the top in front of his shop. that's the only hand pump i ever remember that was still in use. sure wish i had all of his blacksmith tools/forge/etc. he had some grandchildren about my age but i can't remember their names (crs).

m22 - my cousin's daughter used to live in O'Fallon, Mo. then she and her family packed up and moved across the river to O'Fallon, Il. my cousin accused her of moving there because she was too lazy to learn to spell another town name.

39 - i've missed the last couple of RR's, but maybe we'll meet there next year.

i've lived in MO for 62 years and thought i knew of every town and burg in the state. i had to look up Purcell.

Checking back in from the KC area, rural platte City / parkville area. Born and raised in jefferson City and went to college in Rolla.

 

you're quite welcome. however, mr. atchley is my dad. he is 87 years old and lives in lebanon. i'm just atch; or mike; or any of many other nicknames which i'll not be sharing here. call me anything except for late for supper.

b-t-w; springfield is a pretty cool place if you wanna live in an urban setting.

cool; not too far from the H-D plant; and my daughter/s-i-l; and easy access to the big silver tubes that fly. there are lots of good hambers in the KC area. my daughter probably goes right by you every friday when she goes from kearney (her home) to the PX over at leavenworth to shop.

 

Ha! My grandfather, who was from the Archie area, used to say this all the time. I've been looking for opportunities to use that phrase for a long time.

 

I've posted several times, but I'm still not on the list.

I'm located outside a tiny little town in the middle of nowhere MO called Belle (half way between Jefferson City and Rolla, where Hwy's 89 & 28 intersect).
