Got some tuning to do on my banger then! Bigger jets, heavier rate valve spings, and more clutch it is!

Keep us informed Mel. My banger was cruising the streets of Wildwood since it wasn't allowed on the beach and its pretty pissed. Its been screaming up and down the street here in PA fuming about it.

 

So is it Wildwood again for sure next year or is the show going on the road? Inquiring minds want to know.

See if they will let you do test runs with cars and bikes on the beach to get ready for next year. One weekend a month sounds good to me.

 

It was a sweet move. And we have some photos of the whole event, which we will save until a later date!!!

 

I was told I was too late to enter and they would let me know if anyone dropped out. Several people dropped out and I wasn't told. Either way the car was running like a champ blasting around the streets of Wildwood. I even drove it through the sketchy areas at 11pm looking for a gas station

 

So its back to wild wood next year, awsome hope I get to bring my car back its undergoing a new motor transplant as we speak ..traditional flathead v8 mel I hope I get the invatation...

i think i blew snot, sand, sea salt and foamy PBR outta my nose when he said

" yes folks mel is a marsupial............he carries his young in a pouch! " and again after you went down on the bike when he said "mel is like a gerbal folks ......... you can drop him !"

again the VILLAINS cc and my self want to thank you guys for a kick ass good time and will definitely make this a CAN'T MISS event !!!

you crack me up man !!! i think we need to talk mel into a few more well placed speakers , i was hanging out in between races with my buds about 2/3rds down the track and i couldn't hear you at all !! as entertaining as you are , that should never happen!!

OMG!!! Don't even kid about. People are so touchy and overboard politically correct. Now if I go into his store he's going to stuff my cigars with exploding things. I said his "color" commentary, as in play by play, was great.

 

I dont wanna beat a dead horse here, but.....THAT WAS AWESOME!!!! Brought the wife and kids and everybody had a blast (especially me). Racing=awesome, announcer=hilarious, weather=perfect, cars/bikes=wicked, crowd=amazing!!! Glad to hear it will be back in Wildwood. Ive been there many times and always digged the "retro" feel of the place, but with all those cars/bikes in town it was like going back to a different time! Great venue for a GREAT show!!!
