This super rare Corvair powered Travalon Motor Home was the predecessor of the Ultra Van:

 

I had forgotten all about these things. I'v seen a couple, but they are pretty rare on this side of the pond.

The other aircraft in the pic are Canadian designed and built Avro Canada CF-100 'Canuck' all weather interceptors. They were known to their crews as either the 'Clunk' referring to the excess noise made by the landing gear or the 'Lead Sled' as the had very heavy controls and were not known for maneuverability.
