We always have a few really cool bikes at Pistons and Paint each year but it seem like they sometimes get lost amoung all the cool cars. Well not anymore! New for 2013, we are adding The Chopper-Cabra Corral! This is somthing Ive wanted to do for some time now. So this is the year! All bikes together, on the pavement, easy to find and check out. So if you have a bike this is the year to show it off!. Say you got a bike and a car? Enter them both for only 35.00 bucks! So spread the word and lets fill up the corral! Going along with the bike corral, we will also have a vintage bike display this year from the Cherokee chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club! They have told me they are bringing bikes up to 100 years old! If you need to trailer a bike we also have trailer parking inside the fair grounds, so rideum, trailerum , however you can getum there. The corral awaits!
Another awesome band lineup this year! Is there a year cutoff for this event or do you allow any year and style of cars to enter?
actually it says on the website says older than 1965...not sure if that officially includes 1965 but I've never saw 1965 cars turned away.
Amodel25, No real cut off year on the bikes. Its more of a style thing. If you come to these kind of shows I think you know what we are lookin for. Pretty much open to anything that fits the theme of the show. Choppers, Bobbers, old Brit bikes. Now if someone shows up on his brand new Hayabusa and really wants to enter I would not turn him away but he might feel a little out of place. PM me if you have any other questions and thanks for your interest in the show!
I ride a '97 Heritage Springer, traditional but not very old. I was curious maybe for next year. Already registered the '51 and I can't get them both to Denton. Thanks
I've never been to Pistons & Paint, but will finally make it down this year! A group of us will be coming down from Omaha, in two Ford Galaxies. I sold mine four years ago, but got the chance to buy it back. Will be picking it up near Indianapolis this weekend. See you all in a few weeks! Malcolm
