Sure, but only if you pretend not to know who put it there .

How well can you embellish a story? If my brother put that convert in the barn last week and decided yesterday to sell it, I would call it a barn find.

Looks pretty dirty. Anyone know the best way to clean up a barn find?

If anyone is interested I can rent you a space in my barn for $500. 24 hours later when you come to get your genuine barn find I will make sure that the tires don't have air, the battery is gone, and the fuel system is gummed up. I will even cover your car in era correct dust and offer professional photography service of your extraction. :D

That looks more like a basement find by the joists. They are the city version of barn finds.

Very similar but with a typical Aussy slant, Cant Remember A Fucking Thing!! Can often be transmitted through alcohol, symptoms usually show up the day after ingestion! :D

I have 12 cars in the barns and 4 in garages. Are the barn stored cars more valuable? Or just more cool? While typing this I just remembered there is a 13th car in the barns, if I didn't remember would that have been a barn find?

  22. Are we talking Traditional barns, (sidevalve powered) or the newer blister-pack billet barns? If i convert my 6 volt barn to 12 volts, will it still be HAMB friendly?

#13 is definitely a barn find! Congrats! On a related note I was thinking of building a garage, but maybe now I'll build a barn instead, so then anything I loose, then later find - will be in the barn:D

  24. CRAFT disease is bad but if its coupled with C - FAFT you really have got problems.

C-FAFT usually is caused by CRAFT, for example I spent 10 mins looking for my glasses this morning. While searching behind the bed I found them. It happened when I bumped my forehead and noticed my glasses were perched nicely there apparently the entire time I was searching.

I'm not sure what a barn find is anymore. Used to have what I thought was a good grasp on the terminology, but over the years it's become such a over used term, that now I don't know?
My present build was in a barn for over 20 years, and I know the guy who owned it, but didn't know he had it until he lost his storage and brought it home. Is it a barn find if it was brought out to the light of day when I first spotted it? Or did I have to discover it before he drug it outside?

  29. This is a barn find.:D,,I didn't know it existed until I found it. HRP

I always thought that a genuine barn find was one that no one knew existed that was actually tucked away in a barn. There may be a rumor that Mr Cheney that farmer out on hwy 97 had his old 36 Chevy Sedan stuck back in his old barn but no one had actually ever seen it until the day someone actually stopped and asked about it.

No need to look for Mr Cheney he was my grandfather and passed away 20 years ago and the barn was torn down 40 years ago.
