Dynamite Ollie Silva in the 0? Way cool 3 window and he has his shades on. I was lucky enough to see him race several times before he got hurt. Love that short track history!!!

I took my kids (6and9) to the round Lee raceway a few weeks ago. They loved it after they put down the damn Iphones and watched the races.

What a great collection, thanks for posting.

Bentley Warren still holds a track record for local paved track here. Set in a Super Modified in the mid 70s I believe! Helluva wheel man!

    pitman

Dick Mills, a legend this fellow. His 3/4 scale 40 convertible, same homebuilt molds were then used, to build a 4-whl 'winter' version it seems, w/a plow!
He has striped, and applied art-work to more cars over the years.
An artist-gentleman, though I'd probably not want to line-up and race against him.

Great stuff, thanks for posting. It is American racing history, but sad to see so many Ford Coupes lost. Bob
