image.jpg De-arched the rear springs still needs 1.5 out of the front and a small C notch in the rear.

I also made these skirts using a set of three rib skirts for the outer edge and an old pair of flared foxcraft skirts for the center. I did not like the shape of either pair so I came to the conclusion that this would look better. They still need a little dolly work and finishing.

image.jpg I bought this 50 merc grill surround a few years ago and have been staring at it ever since. Today I decided to pull the trigger, I had to sell my wife and dog to buy this so I was a little scared to start cutting.

Wow... I didn't realize that the merc surround was such a close fit.

image.jpg A little mock up before tomorrows weld fest begins. The hood will be shaved with rounded corners. The kaiser floating grill will need some fresh chrome as well.

The amount of material removed is minimal Ryan, just a little trimming in the right areas.

No problem, no narrowing required. I should have some more pics up soon. So you can see where to trim. The hood lip will require a small extension that I will work on while rounding the corners.

I like it too. Used a modified Chevy in my 51.
