  1. Bitchin' spec. Like the hot shoes of 40 or more years ago.
WDobos- i like how the tube grille modernises the styling on your fine '60 'Chevrillac'

I had this back in 2003. 54 Chevy sedan delivery, chopped 6", 59 Plymouth taillights mounted vertically, Buick Grand Nat'l turbo V6 drivetrain, caught fire & got totalled.

I think the original poster might have been teasing a friend for using those headlight buckets. An American '39 sedan delivery would have been a completely different front sheet metal group, as I'm about 99.9% sure Ford didn't do a Deluxe version of the delivery that year.

  5. Good point. Now that I think of it, don't recall seeing a '39. though I surely must have.

  8. A few from my past that are long gone now. I know the Buick is OT but it was part of the custom theme.

Actually, Chevrolet made the Vega panel, and Ford made the Pinto panel, and the Chevrolet HHR Sedan Deliveries I I want one of those). But, I agree, the last, full size, "true" Deliveries were made by Chevrolet in 1960. Butch/56sedandelivery.

  24. Very nice. Much nicer than the factory delivery body, which was so tall and tippy-looking -- a panel truck, really.

I have a 41 plymouth sedan delivery project.
It could be had for a fairly decent price.

  29. Would also love to see a photo. '41 Plymouth would make a good looking delivery.
