Mine still pretty much looks like this...only a little straighter...

I AM making some progress however, the biggest was finally settling on a color scheme, here's a sneak peek...It WILL be painted by next spring...of course, I said that last year too...

trunk is good but does have some floor pan rust, all original 6, radio delete plate 3 on tree

  3. Yeah, in my opinion they are a classic/timeless look. My dad originally built this car in 1990 and it looks as good now as it did then... mainly in part of the wheels I think.

When my dad built it in 90' he left the front speers off as well as the side mirrors. Definitely gives it a little cleaner look in my opinion.

I think he likes the center painted red ( as opposed to the stock white). Looks good on the white car.

Bel Air sidetrim originally came painted white in the center. His are red. Reminds me of early 60's Impala sidetrim.

No bad there HRP. That's just one of those suttle touches that make a '55 "pop" out ya while makein most folks scratch their heads wondering what's different about it than the other million like it.

That's what I intend on running on my 210. I plan on painting the "white" area body color to give it a "split" look.

  27. Yep, think it accents all the red and breaks up the sea of white.

  29. bt34 - LOVE your wagon! Please explain what we're looking at with the trim. No windshield stainless, but you have front fender spears and 1/4 trim. Also none on the beltline under the windows.
