It's my favorite car show in the world... and not just because I'm one of the guys that hosts it. It's because the Revolution has become a sort of laid back party for a small bunch of guys with some really incredible cars. It's a real throw back and ...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Bummer that Mabry is out, it was a great venue. At least you've found another great place in Gruene (and it's twenty minutes from home!). Can't wait!
Kool! I'm up for making another 1300 mile round trip in the Galaxie if you'll have us in the preferred parking area, hell even if we have to park with the daily drivers. I really missed not being able to make last year.
I'm all in. We will be there in the Impala and park in the wanabe parking. If not we will be in the late model. One way or the other we will still have a good time.
Man is it that time of the year again? Looking forward to it at the new venue. Enjoyed it at the Army base but change is good.
Damn it damn it damn it!! I thought you'd skip a year which made me feel better since I don't think I can pull another Texas trip off again this year. I wanna come. If I had a choice between Revolution and Roundup, I think I go Revo. I had so much fun last year. Have fun......damn it.
I have this same quesiton as well before I send in my reg. Here is a short list of what I am thinking is on the fence for you guys on letting a car in or not. sbc with turbo 350 vega box ford 9 inch juice brakes firestone black walls 40 ford steelies Split wishbones all around heavy dropped axle. all on a bare metal somewhat surface rusted 32 5 window. Or see my avitar. I am sure you gonna say send it in and see what happens. Do you want a tech sheet on the car as well with the photo? Here is a link to the adventure of drving to Austin the last time I came out there with the then new HAMB app. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=575603
Ron, you'd be cool I bet... Send a picture. We don't limit the show to period perfect cars. We just strive to have a really good quality show full of really traditional and really nice cars. Certainly all of them are traditionally styled.
Thanks Ryan. One last question how long does it take to know if we get accepted? I need to change some vacation dates around at work.
I'm gonna start going through them on Friday at the latest. After Friday, folks will generally know within a day after they send their email. Of course, I'll reply either way. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Is the venue gonna be able to facilitate a preferred parking area for cars that aren't quite inline with the vision of the show?? Posted using the Mildly Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Glad the show will happen this year. Gruene will be a killer little town to have it in. Looking forward to it!
Curious...did you build the Revolution microsite using Lensa by Colorlabs? With your massive site building skills Ryan, somehow I doubt it, but if you did use a template could you please share which one...cause it looks great!
Just made my room reservation, my wife hopes it's not as cold as year before last. I can taste Naegelin's Bakery for breakfast, a Grist burger for lunch and a cold beer at Greune Hall to go with some great cars.
is this pre-reg only? and why so late in Nov? the weather can be shaky through nebraska and kansas at that time. and do you know that really doesnt give me a whole lot of time to get my coupe back on the road?? Wow, I really went back and forth on that one... Jeff

Fly'n Kolors Jr is looking forward to hanging out. Maybe we can get him to do a panel jam with you. It has been a year sense he learned to trim those brushes. That day was a turning point for him. Thanks again for working with him
