Way cool almost surreal to see.
I bet if you just parked it there more people would be checking out the truck then the ancient sites!

thanks for sacrificing your sleep to bring us these awesome pics. does Italy not care about the california plates or do you have locally issued plates you carry with you in case they are needed?

great pics, great truck and great build. maybe you could give the pope a spin around the block.

Fantastic shots and outcome! Love the old city as a backdrop. That color really fits with all the aged marble.

Have read this whole thread a few times and the quality of your work is amazing, would love to see this in real life, I'm in Rome in September and if there's any chance of you letting me have a closer look that would be great.

I have read this again and I am more inspired each time. This is money well spent. Great build, great thread and wonderful pictures. Now all there is to do is drive the wheels off of it. Love this truck.

    Many thanks Tolo :)

I must confess that it is very pleasant to drive,
I tried to run a little bit and I did not imagine it could get very easily to 120 mls/h, then I had a fear because of the tires (the speed limit is just
over 90 mls).... then I let the throttle pedal  :) .

I'm happy to have inspired you, good job

    Frank

  21. your truck is just to awesome man. i love how your bed came out, how far does your angle strips stick out? when you lift the bed they dont rub on the paint it looks like.

    Hi, I'm sorry for delay.

from the angle strips to the bedsides there are about 8 mm per side from the head of the bolts of the fender and do not touch the paint.

    Thanks
