Okay, here are mine. Are there T Buckets? Isn't my screen name T Fever Fred? In no particular order:

    1. I'm not a Deuce fan or a big fan of satin finishes, but I'm a fan of style. Hotrodprimer's '32 P/U has style.

    2. Cuppa T is a fairly new entry on the HAMB, but it could be the poster child of a simple, functional, traditional hot rod. I'm collecting parts for my next project and this is an inspiration.

    3. Royal Shifter blew me away, when I first saw his T Bucket. It's just perfect. Nuff said.

    4. Steel Rebel's T Bucket took just enough from Norm's T to make it another perfect T Bucket. My nightmare is having to choose between his and Skip's.

    5. Littleman's P/U is a warehouse of knowledge and fab skills. His attention to detail and speed is borderline insanity. And I LOVE insanity. It's also one of a few Hot Rods on the HAMB, that is actually a HOT ROD.

This is pretty funny. I think most of the people on this thread are of the "No Rat Rods" persuasion, but many of us have included primered/patina'd cars in our very short lists.

I think I'll avoid drawing any conclusions from this.

There's a huge difference between the cars guys have posted and "rat rods"
No skulls, webs, crude welds etc.

Sorry to say George, this isn't my car. It's a photo I took of Dave Simard's coupe. Mine's a five window. And no, Dave's not on the hamb, so you'll have to pick again. :D

Well, I guess now we all know where I stand...:D Hell, only one of the cars I picked was black, and now I gotta change that one!

  11. Some clarity on the Rocky33. When I bought it, Rock and I were of the same idea that the truck would get finished in a dark color WITH an early smallblock. A progression of the kid that would have built it as is to start with an old flatty and strived to keep up with the times and speeds. What is not known is that I took a 90 day note on the car and at that time was knee deep in my touring. As much fun as I was having with the 33 I realized that the T would never get done if I kept it. I fixed the rear wheel cylinders and rear shock mounts which were busted. I sold the 33 to a flakey pal that let me drive it a bit and then he put it on Ebay. Also, I titled it as a 34;)

Was a fun truck, my wife and others hated it, everyone looked at you! Dad swears I did a burnout in front of the pub with a cop setting there but I did not. Had him with me when my folks moved back here.

Pictures guys, pictures! :D I know most of the cars you mentioned, but not everyone is on here as much as I am, and besides, the idea of this thread is looking at pictures of hot rods!

How could I have forgotten the Rudy Rodriguez/Paul Hoffman Nachtfalter? That'll have to replace one of my previous choices -- pick one.

There are so many good cars on the HAMB! I'm surprised no one mentioned Jeff Norwell's TyreFryer!

With 12 years on the Hamb it is real hard to narrow it down to 5. There have been literally 100's of cars that i have said, WOW I would love to drive that someday. I am all in with some of the choices already made, just getting it down to 50 would be real hard. Let's just say some of the best Hot Rods ever built live here. One spot would always go to my friend Sam and the Roach Rod.

I KNEW you could do it! I am gonna go back and replaced Simards car on my list, I have FINALLY made up my mind! At some point, you gotta just kinda say " hey, no-ones gonna die, and I might change my mind tomorrow, so WTH!" Its just kind of a fun exercise. Oh, yea, and Norwells PU was in my final 20. It wasn't that hard to get down to 20, REALLY got tough after that.
