Thanks for posting the pics. There are few in there that I am partial too :). It was a great show and great turn out for a foggy day. The miller OHV banger was super cool, first time I have seen one. I caught the guy as he was leaving, it has a real cool bite to the exhaust note. I should have taken a video.

I never heard it run, would have liked to. I thought I'd shot an overall photo of the car as well, but I cant find it on my camera.

Thanks for the shots. I was there for a couple of hours but had other commitments. I really loved how that '32 Roadster was parked diagonally on those posi tracks. Wasn't sure if the side trim on that '51 (?) ford convertible was stock. Comments. Finally saw Kan'tspell's beautiful "Blue Bomber" chev. Wanted to meet him and congratulate. Great show as always and a great way to wind down the season.

I really liked the way the hood was nosed and peaked on the ford, but personally, I felt the side trim was a little "busy", I would have liked a simple horizontal trim piece better.

I didnt even see Kan'tspell's car till he left. I heard it was a much bigger turnout than they expected, and they were running out of parking. There were a lot of cars parked in nooks and crannies, it was easy to miss a few.

It's not. There was a '51 Crestliner 2-door sedan that had side trim that was kinda similar, but that's not it.

Yeah, I know about the Crestliner trim. I wanted to ask the owner where his extra pieces came from. I like it when guys blend trim for their own personal look.

Falcongeorge, it was good to finally put a face to the name.
Turn's out we know each other from drag racing in the mid 90's.
It's amazing to see some of the cars that come out of the woodwork for this show.
I'm having troubles uploading pics, I'll try again later.

Yea, that was one of those "small world" moments. I always used to breathe a sigh of relief if I saw you or Bogman coming towards us in tech, instead of Barry's scowling old mug:D. I never realized hemiduece was a flag starter at Mission, until I looked him up on the GVMPS website. Man, he really has some history!
It was really nice talking about Ranks. He was a character. Fun swapping stories about Lockerbee and all those guys as well. Maybe I'll see you on the 28th. I had a question I meant to ask you about tech and my Chevy II, forgot to ask, forgot to take a pic of your olds as well. It was really great meeting up with all you guys. I gotta quit being such a wallflower at these deals...

  10. I did get one of Rocket88's car, but not the '34 or that T inside.
Or one of my own car:D

oops! Missed one!:D I only shot one pic of it this year, but I shot a couple at the Tom the Tire Guy show last year. I should check thoroughly, there might be a few more missing. I shot over 100 cars, but some of them arent HAMB friendly. Like that wicked 5.0 with the carburated LS-1 and drag radials for instance...:D

Thanks for the pics. Had a great day there. Saw a few cars out for the first time this year, ran into lots of old friends as well.

  16. We arrived a little late and were in the back left corner. Then left for lunch and parked in the front row by the little doughnut truck when we came back.

Thanks Rocket, I missed that '36. Nice looking car. I had a pic of the orange '40 in my Tri-Five club picnic photos, so skipped it this time.
