    There is one being built at "Frame Up Wheel Works" in Wadsworth IL. based on Stanfords illustraton. They are doing a great job on it!

    A while back, a guy contacted me and said he had found the car. I think he has it now and is trying (or maybe already has) sold it.

    Hey...

    My dad .. Les Beattie and his partner Roger Hardcastle built and owned the first Stinger dragster. There were pics and an article on the car in the April 1964 edition of Hot Rod magazine. They've both passed away and I'm looking for any pics or videos of the car. Stories are good too...

    Thanks...I can answer some questions. But I was just a kid.

    Those were great days though and I still remember Jet Car Bob Smith... or uncle Bob... spending a lot of nights on our couch. He was definitely one of the nicest and funniest guys I knew.
