Hot Rods Rashy and Bulletproof need help!

We got lots of offers for help. Thanks guys! What we needed was a chance to cool off and regroup. Have decided the pump is not an issue. Have jetisoned the hood and will take the moon tank off for hiway driving. Got a mechanical gauge and found the electrical gauge to be way, way off.

Run this one out to 1 17 00 and Jim and a white "gasser" 55 are up in the next couple of cars. That jacked up gasser look doesn't make them faster though.

at 1:20:50 Bulletproof (Mike) runs. what happened? Is he still in?

 

Still in. We talkes ourselves out of changing the front main seal. Front main seal talked us back into doing it. We got that done, about halfway to Memphis now. We had to drop the trans and replace the flywheel after the first run.

Unfortunately, we are out. Valve train is wiped out.

What valvetrain? We had issues at Bonneville and I am starting to see a pattern.

 

Drag Week= doing different car repairs in strange places for a week. From reading the list it sounds like you aren't the only ones on the broke it lets put it on the stretcher list.
