I just got this from grandpa, it's been sitting for 10 years and ran great when he parked it. It has a built 460, C6 with shift kit and 4.11s in the rear, and some wild interior he installed in the mid 70s during the show van craze. Orange shag, tbird seats, diamond pleat, tv, 8 track, and light sconces....

Just got back from Edmonton, Alberta driving our '56 F-100 (aprox. 1200 KM each way) We had a blast!
Picture was taken @ Mt Robson which you pass on the Yellowhead #16 highway.

my shop truck ,(also my avatar ) Gotta put a rearend in it now, it locked up on the railroad tracks , I was able to rock it back and forth to get it off the tracks and road , but it had me a bit excited for a few .
pulled a rear diff out of a 91 , an 8.8 with an electric traction control , and 3.08 gears , so I might be able to use granny as first gear , I'll post how the swap works out , The replacement is nearly the same dimensions , 57" backing to backing, spring saddles close ,just gotta change the rear U joint to the plate for the new style,,, and with the nearly 25% higher gears , should be better fuel mileage , Joe

1954 F100. 327 T350 Mustang II front end. Center Lines. She just turned up one night, planted herself in the corner of our carport and has stayed there ever since. Looks like she has adopted us. I even had to sell my 55 Buick Century coupe to accommodate the poor thing. Big ask! But she's gorgeous, and she needs some work to get her on the road.

Yeah, don't say anything about the wheels. I am not sure they're gonna stay yet...

Hi guys here's a pic of my 56 big window custom cab! I imported it to Australia from a guy in Fresno California about 4 yrs ago! Was fairly stock when I got it with a 390 and c6
Now it's set up for 460 n 4 speed top loader!
Have put jag front end in and z'd the rear chassis 5" so it sits about 4" of the ground

Nice truck! I like your choice of drivetrain too. That truck is gonna be fun to drive!

Ok, since I was looking over the thread, I will post a photo of my F100. Its more toward the "bad" spectrum. Traded some stuff for it about 8 years ago, put it in a barn and its been patiently waiting there ever since. The bed is a step side and taken apart. I got a marine 460 engine for it but it looks like I will never get around to fixing it.
