Diesel Bronco, Your building is looking very late 40's to me. I like the idea of the hopped up Banger , track nose and fully belly pan. I have a '29 RPU that is going to be a pseudo hill climber. The mill is a Ford 2.3 with Ranger roller cam. The intake will be a fabbed log intake with 3 - one BBL carbs off of Econolines. The header will be old school and starts low and exits over the middle of the right rear tire. Am using a good assortment of various old parts. If you are interested I will send you the link to my build. Dave
Very Nice! I've been preaching on here for years you don't need a ton of equiptment to do nice metal work, (but it helps). You are proof. Great lines and proportion. Can't wait to see it finished.
Made all the belly pan mounts And the bulkhead and most of the trunk floor Going to mount the seat and make the firewall tomorrow
Gonna run Modified Roadster? I don't believe you can run Roadster with that belly pan and step pan arrangement. Also, the track nose will put you into the Modified Roadster class.
Thanks. I only built the nose. Dieselbronco built most of the body I only help out when I get free time.
Update? We want updates! '27 T Roadster build: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=734383
+1 on wanting updates. It amazes me how simple, straightforward and no nonsense that car is. Very much the race car that you have access to everything when you lift the hood panels off.
Wow, looks fantastic! My '27 T Roadster build: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t= 734383
