Still can't believe there aren't any entries from Texas. Wish I could come.

  7. HA HA HA - That guy, the guy running the event, he's something else!

    Awesome you are going!

  8. You are KILLER Norwell!

    I know! They were invited!

Thanks Gow! still got a room for me in Wildwood?

    Like Sugar Baby!

Rick Losh lettered it up, he used to letter stock cars at Lakeside and Englewood Speedway.

It's gonna take an army of guys to get it finished up..... I'm not giving up yet! I may have to skip a show this weekend.

Here are some circa 1950s Pin-up Model artwork that I scanned from my dad's samples for advertisement matchbook-covers & calendars. Buzz Wendzel

From the Lou Wendzel collection. My dad (Lou) sold matches and calendars to local junk yards, auto parts stores, and car dealers in Cheyenne, WY and northern Colorado during the late '40s and throughout the '50s. Buzz Wendzel

  16. Thanks Mel ! Your efforts with ROG are what pushed me to follow this dream, I'm in awe that we are a week out. I've had so much support from people all over, near and far. I cant wait to see it all shake out!

NJ is biting my ankle, we'll talk next week!

Here's to the echo of open pipes in Georgetown next week!

VintageBuzz...great collection. However, I think that they are photoshopped as I couldn't detect a single tat!

Not photoshopped as I have the pristine-originals which are each 6" x 3 3/8" in size. They have all been appraised for insurance purposes at $125 each. And, they are not for sale at that price. ~VB

  26. Finished printing Norwell's art for the Climb, this past weekend. It's a 10 color serigraph, approx. 18x24". VERY Limited edition. All hand-printed (no printing press, just me and my squeegee). Snag one if ya can!
