Aluminum body for a Corvette

The scoop does look funny without the fenders to balance it out on each side.

I'd like the scoop better if it was flat on top, and about half as high. Great project though, and super metal skills!

I decided that I need more practice and not beat my self to death on each panel. I will just keep throwing panels at it till a good set come out and I like the design. Things change and it gives me more time to work out the under structure. More scrap!

Hmmm, I guess there is a "Grandfather Clause" not mentioned in the new enforcement concerning the re-body of a 1974 late model car. I now feel sorry for the member who's thread was deleted over a late model front clip. Also, it was mentioned '32 Ford f'glass body build threads would be deleted. Really confused???

I'm confused too..........a 50' Merc is NOT ok because it has a Camaro clip that can't probably even be seen, but a rebodied 74 Vette is ok ??? So maybe fiberglass 32's WILL be ok after all !
