Man, what a great weekend! The Greaserama moved this year from it’s long time venue to a new one that was outside of KC, many denounced the move but the crowd that showed up on Saturday proved that change can be good. I’m writing an article for a magazine on the show so I’ll save most of my words of the event for that, here the photos will do the talking. [IMG]

Travis, Thanks for sharing your photos with us. It looks like they had a good turnout for their new location. Take care and be safe.

Travis, great job as always. When do you sleep? You're always doing something. I've been to all 13 Greaseramas. With the exception of the early ones, 13 was my favorite. New era begins for Greaserama. Bravo! ! The car club should be proud. I know Todd would be proud

For part 2 we’re still on Saturday. The show was big big big this year, I don’t feel that there would have been any way to get all of the cars and especially all of the spectator cars into the area of the old venue. It was pretty impressive to head up on the north hill of the fairgrounds to see all that the 2013 Greaserama was.

Do me a favor, let the gang know that I had a very good time. With the exception of the first several shows on 31st street, #13 is the best so far. High marks from me. I'm ready for next year. I know Todd would be pleased. I'm told one of stops on the Starliner garage crawl is the Go Away Garage. In 2000, they hosted High Octane Decadence 4. Mickey from StrayKat Kustoms, Punkrod Todd and I experienced a great kustom Kulture art and car show with a good dose of live entertainment. The next year SK-500 and Greaserama were born. I haven't been in the Go Away Garage since 2000.

The flush mount skirts, the lake pipes, the spots, it’s all working for me.

See I told you if I got down low you couldn’t tell that the other half of the car wasn’t shammied… oops.

I keep seeing this car this summer but I haven’t had a chance to BS with the owner yet.

Jebby’s “Nadine” and the tail end of my Galaxie. Nadine looks damn good for 200k+ miles.

Neal was nice enough to give me a lift in when I walked out to the entrance to give my dad a wristband. I can’t wait to see the next evolution of this kool truck.

That's it for this post, see you at a show

Great looking Merc, front bumper is stunning . . . can't decide if it's stunning in a good or bad way. Kinda looks like a snow shovel, but it's kinda cool . . . kinda dorky

    Love your coverage, thanks Travis!

  24. One of these days I am going to meet you as we seem to attend a lot of the same shows, but never hook up. May-be next year somewhere down the road we will meet.

I saw Eric on Saturday - what a difference a year makes - the club has a better attitude - I'll see them at their cruise later this month - relaxing at my hotel in Wichita - warm but nice drive today - see you at Starliner

    Thanks Travis again
