Iron Invasion returns to Chicago October 11 & 12, 2013 Woodstock IL

just want to let people know that if you pre register - the pre registrations will be getting a special poster that is ONLY available to the pre registered vehicles. Also - we will be giving you a $5 OFF any shirt at the merch booth coupon that only the pre registered rides will get.
Not sure if everyone knows - the pre registered people get in 30 minutes early as well. Here is a link to the form for pre registration.

As soon as I got back from last years Invasion I planned my vacation days to include the 2013 Invasion, it's in the top 2 shows that I will not miss.

 

Thanks for the kind words Midwest Rodder - I hope you can get some others from MO to make the trek up! Even if people don't bring their hot rods or customs, we want people to show up to get a feel for the show. Once they are there we know they will want to come back the following year WITH their ride.

cool video, its been almost a year and you can still find iron invasion dirt in bryans impala!

 

the question is - will more be added in 2013? We sure hope so!

How does camping work? I see there is a registration forum on the website, but I always thought it was a first come first serve and no saved spots.

Haven't camped at the show before and just want to make sure we do the right process.

Looking forward to it, how about a road construction update from locals. I just drove from lake geneva to crystal lake but wasn't paying attention with this event in mind, there's plenty of orange barrel activity though.

 

Cant wait and will be there for friday fun this year!!!

 

hey john, what time does the gate open on friday afternoon. we got there early friday last year, got our wristbands but couldn't get in so we ended up finding a restaurant in town for a bite to eat before returning later in the evening.

 

Camping spot secured! Now to get my vintage camper done.

Great show! Counting down the days and hoping to get something together to take. It was an absolute blast. I didn't have any trouble with anything. As far as the weather it beat the hell out of the the near 100ºF temps at the last couple Pile Ups in Decatur.

Never camped there. But you need to contact them on their site to reserve a camp site. The first come first served is for people who have not reserved a site if there are still sites available.

Pre registering does not get you a camp site. You have to do that separately.
