Here are just a few photos from the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival in Auburn, IN. This was the 57th annual event up in the northeast Indiana town that once manufactured the Auburn automobile. There were some beautiful cars for sale and for auction. The swap meet area again was large and had some really great stuff as well as some unbelievably over priced stuff. Check out some photos. https://aurburn2013.shutterfly.com/71
says i have to sign in. i went in 06, bought my 57 chevy at the auction. went to the acd cruse night. it was great. was the guy there with the little scratch built dusenburg chassis?
Yes you have to sign in to view - don't have an account. We went there two years ago and it was fabulous but miserably hot at 101˚F and 101% humidity!!!
Sorry you couldn't pull up the pictures, I'm new to shutterfly. try this instead. http://www.shutterfly.com/lightbox/view.sfly?fid=f851ba0b92d6780d2a944dfefaeb216b
OK one more time, try this one and someone please tell me if it works. http://www.shutterfly.com/lightbox/view.sfly?fid=f851ba0b92d6780d2a944dfefaeb216b
OK I thought that using one of these photo sharing sites would make it easy, But I guess you need to be a more of a computer geek than I am to make that happen. One last time and then I will just post a half dozen at a time the old fashion way. http://www.shutterfly.com/lightbox/view.sfly?fid=26c3eb1318aae4edf12f12eb75ef82b5
Spent yesterday there in the swap meet and car corral (the out door sales lots) had a great time and bought some stuff. I recommend this labor day event to everyone. Normal Norman
OK I think I really do have it this time. Please let me know if you can pull them up. https://aurburn2013.shutterfly.com/71
Great! I edited the first post so maybe people won't have to go through this whole mess. Shutterfly - a whole new learning experience.
Album worked fine. Some beautiful machinery for sure. Have to admit I was drawn to the penny car... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I love that the penny car has a sign on it "Please touch my car" instead of the opposite. It really draws in the kids and kids at heart.
thanks for your efforts to share the beautiful pieces of machinery with those that couldn't see them in person
