    Hi everyone!
I have been here on the HAMB for a little while lurking around and now I think it's time to intruduce myself.

My name is Christoffer Einarsson (son of Magnus Einarsson on Fast N' Loud if you wonder)
    I'm 25 years old. Got a wife and a 1 year old son, # 2 is on it's way.

My biggest hobby is vintage cars, american is number 1 but I also like old Volvos.
My project at the moment is my -50 Chevrolet 5700 COE that will become a car hauler. I'm keeping the original chassis because in Sweden it's no tax or inspection on cars and trucks year 1950 or older.
I have pics of my other cars on my profile if someone want to see them.

    Thanks for a great site/forum!

Welcome to the site Christoffer, I've seen your dad on Fast n loud. If you plan to keep the chassis original, does that mean you are going to keep it powered with a inline 6 cylinder. If so, a Chevrolet 261ci., or GMC 270, or 302ci. would be your best alternative. I've owned close to thirty Chevy, & GMC COE's through the years, & working on a 1952 GMC 3 1/2 ton COE Holmes Wrecker at the present. what ype of hauler body, are you thinking about ?

    Thanks spankster!
Yes I will be running a 6 cylinder, the original 235 has nice even compression values and runs good.
I will just change the carb (got a NOS one on EBay) and some gaskets on this engine.
If something happens I may consider a engine swap.
I want to keep it pretty simple, like a flatbed but with a angled end of the bed to hook the ramps on. I have a tight budget, otherwise I might be putting a tilt bed on it.
I might get the bed something like this; a metal frame and a wood floor to look like an original bed.

Hello & Welcome from Bakersfield Cal.
I have been to your part of the world and seen all the cool American cars you have on that side. Been to Varberg and Twin Lake Run. Still need to hit the A-Bombers run though :)

Yes, we've got some fine american classics over here.
I have also been on the shows in Varberg and Twin Lake Run in Höör but haven't got myself to A-Bombers. I have just read about it. I will have to go there some year!
