Clicked on a recent HAMB thread yesterday with pics from the 2013 NSRA Nats where I sold my 62 Impala wagon. It never looked better then in that picture. I had my first pang of sellers remorse. I knew right then and there that some day I'll have another wagon.

  3. Finally got the right motor mounts for my 1956 special station wagon. Got them in and bolted them up to the motor got all the wiring hooked up and the radiator in .Just have to hook up all the water hoses and belts, fan and fan shroud. Then put oil. trans fluid in and water, fire her up and see what leaks! lol. Bruce.

Pretty cool to see what th eother countries have in the way of long roofs. Can't say I've ever seen a Rolls like that before.

Thanks! Had to give it a mild custom touch. It's Lowered 3" all around. Simple modifications Here and there to make it look good. Just got it this past June and put 4000 miles on it already!

Wow, that Zodiac wagon is sharp looking! The Vauxhall is a nice and clean classic design.

The Rolls can roll away:confused: Just goes to show, money doesn't buy taste.

  13. Is that a Dodge grille on your Plymouth? Pretty cool! Is that front seat the original type for that car?

Love the split window on the upper portion of the tailgate. I don't see many of those.

A Special is a Buick low end model. A Roadmaster or Super were the high end Buick models.

This photo was posted on the Twitter account of our local police department (@Sannichpolice). It was taken in the early 60's.

Now this is a cool looking police car!

You're probably out of luck, since that photo is quite old. However, the number for that yard is on the side of this tow truck. The area code is 314 (or maybe 573) .

If it is still on the garage attic, we have a set of NOS wood trim for a Mercury wagon. I'm not exactly sure what vintage. It is early 60's. PM me if interested in that.

Here are a few pictures of my 1960 AMC Cross Country Super station wagon before I sold it. Pink/White two tone, Power-Pak 2bbl carb, 3 on the tree, twin grip rear, twin-hideaway fold down bed, roof rack....

Thanks! I actually traded a guy a 1976 buick regal 4 door straight up for that rambler. Ended up having some pretty bad rust in the frame, so it had to go...its was sad because it was such a great runner and a nice cruiser.
