Awesome pictures! Really bummed I couldn't make it up there. Next year I am going to make sure I am there. Looks like a killer show.

Hey y'all - How does one downsize their picture display like the previous poster's pics? I'd like to learn how to do that so my pics don't take up so much space in the post.

I save them at 10" wide, 72 ppi, then use the "post reply" button. Find the paper clip to manage attachments, and upload. There's probably an easier way, but I don't know what it is.

Looks like a great time! I am liking all the vintage campers.
Where is this event and when is it usually held?

The event takes place at Symco, Wisconsin during the second weekend in August.

That was my ride for the weekend. It was a blast and the show was amazing.

  20. Had a blast, Had James Whistleman(photographer) take some shots sat morning. The rest are crappy pics from my phone and they are all of mine and buddies cars. The shot on the bridge is my sedan that james photographed. The show was potentially one the best weekends I have had in my life(no exaggeration). Met some cool people and partied our asses off. The bands were great as well!

    Nice shots!
Any more of the blue 34(?) Ford? I love it. It's got survivor written all over it.

That is unfortunately the only photo that I have of the blue '34 coupe and it is a true 60s built survivor. Very cool car!

That's my dads car that he built in 1963 and sold it in 1973 we got it back after 39 years, the same owner had it. I will try to post some more pics of it. Chadly Johnson from rod and kulture magazine did a photo shoot on the car. Pretty cool stuff.......

Thanks for posting all the great pics guys. I was having such a great time at the show that I did not even take any. That and my phone was dead all weekend. Met a lot of cool people at this show, how to see some of them at Cheaterama.

  27. I bought a car like that in 72 and thechassis was a nightmare but it exuded "Hot Rod" all over it!

    I miss that sucker!

  29. Don't associate Symco Shakedown with any show that caters to Rat Rods please.
