Unused shot from my feature on this cool '58 Edsel in the current issue of Ol' Skool Rodz.

 

Awesome work as always, everyone!

Haven't been on here for a while, but I had shoulder surgery a month and a half back, and now I've gotten an infection in there, so I have time to pick up the markers for a bit of therapy.

My old buddy Ed Newett in Costa Mesa asked me to draw up a T-shirt design for the Eight Ball (#808) car for Speedweek, in a Sailor Jerry tattoo style.
Didn't really know what that meant, so I did a bit of research and this is what I came up with.



Sadly now, it doesn't seem they're gonna' make it out to the salt this year, so the shirt aint gonna' happen either.

Great work every one (well, except one... but... I'd prefer to know more about the age and motivations of the contributor before I go too hard on the artist. Re: the white scale '47 Chevy that's been photoshopped. Me thinks I smell a rat. One that preys on the comments made about photoshop enhanced photos of real cars) (If I'm wrong, I apologize.)

I had a 1957 Buick Riviera Hard top in mind when I designed that car. it is clean and simple. The Chevy Impala roof has a slick relief line that kick up and over the top along with the 'vent' in the middle. I take pride in my brain farts and only reserve them for appropriate situations at inappropriate moments. Ha Ha...

The springer is home-made. I used two Schwinn forks and a upper spring from a HD springer front end.

 

HuffDaddy, the bike is killer and that's a nice photo too.
