    Thanks guys.
It still hss a long way to go, but I wasn't missing the Meltdown Drags.
Eventually it will be silver with black aprons fenders and boards.
I had some engine gremlins and it made two and a half passes before shredding the teeth off the bronze distributor gear. At least now I know why the engine would pop and bang occasionally:D

Heres the first pass, I didn't warm the tires and I left soft because I had only driven it up the road once and to Sams drive in in downtown Byron for the Meltdown Drags cruise. If you listen you can hear me miss third gear too. This is the first time I ever drag raced a stick shift, so needless to say I need a lot of practice.

I have to thank my club brothers Joe, Jeff, Art, Big E,my brother and the old folks and also they're wives /girlfriends and kids for letting them help get this car done.

I love the ventilated fenders. I don't think I've seen that detail before.

I've been looking forward to this since I missed seeing it in person at the Meltdown Drags. Once again, fine job Joey. Awesome car too. Still angry at myself for not seeking it out after you mentioned it that weekend.

The lightning holes in the fenders look racey and are really well done. I've never seen that detail before. Super cool. Love the red windows too. It's mean lookin'!

I wish I could say it was an original idea, but I don't think there are too many of those left. It is traditional though.
